With a great central location in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the Rapid City KOA is well equipped and willing to handle all aspects of your reunion or rally. Our KOA manager will design a customized package to meet all the specific requirements, requests and demands of your group. Your itinerary may be as simple as a car club planning a relaxed camping weekend or it may be as complicated as a large motor coach rally using the park for destination touring. Regardless, we always ensure that all the participants have the best possible time at a reasonable price.
The fall season is an especially opportune time to visit the area and the KOA campground. A full calendar of special events fills up every weekend from Labor Day in September to Native American Day in October. The Black Hills Autumn Expedition is a series of community events that include the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, the Black Hills Powwow in Rapid City, the Hill City Quilt Show and Sale, the Mickelson Trail Trek and the Deadwood Jam.
